OAIB, has established an organizational structure within the scope of the Product Conformity Assessment Project taking into consideration the TS EN ISO 45011, EA-6/01, EA-6/02, IS0 Guide 65 guidance documents and the principles of TS EN IS0 17020. OAIB;

• Has adopted the principle of impartiality in pursuance of the policies, procedures applied and related documents, and has procured accessibility to all related parties without compromising impartiality. The accessibility to product certification services have been structured to be independent of the size of the supplier or being a member of any partnership or group.
• OAIB has assured impartiality and independence at 3 levels:
  • Strategy and Policy
  • Decisions and Certification
  • Evaluation
• OAIB stays at equal distance from all related parties. In this sense it has not limited its Product Conformity Assessment activities to only member exporting companies but is offering services t all producers in the machinery sector defined as the Series 84 (Nuclear Reactors, Boilers, Machinery & Mechanical Appliances, Computers) according to the international Harmonized System.
• OAIB is at an equal distance to everyone in terms of financial and other respects. Its services, performed with focus on impartiality and transparency, do not provide any corporeal or incorporeal privileges to any community or person.
• OAIB, while forming commissions under the scope of Product Conformity Assesment activities, has ensured that the system operates through different independent committees in order to satisfy the impartiality and reliability in the activities of audit, evaluation, certification decisions, objections and complaints evaluation.
  
• OAIB is preparing the normative documents referring to in Product Conformity Assessment Certification within the scope of Product Conformity Assessment Specifications prepared by Sector Committees that are impartial, free of any commercial-financial pressures, independent, experienced and specialized in the sector. The scope of product conformity assessment procedure and the limit of audit and certification have been thus established.
• The basic principle of the audit is that the auditor and the technical specialist has no conflict of interests with the producer to be audited and follows a completely equivalent conduct and the impartiality as guaranteed by OAIB with the statements obtained.
• OAIB is continuously working on improvements for its certification system with the help of “Science and Technology Superior Advisory Committee”, acting as a consultative commission, in order to perform a more effective and efficient product certification. All changes that may arise in this scope are planned systematically. Before any changes are effected, opinions of all related parties on the change are take into account and the changes are made after an evaluation of such opinions.
